Welcome to "Tugging The Threads".
I enjoy searching for my ancestors and their extended family. I love the feeling I get when I find some nugget about the lives of my family and the times in which they live. To me, searching for an ancestor is like finding a loose thread and then tugging on that thread until I know more. I'll never know everything about them, but every time I tug on them I get a little closer.
The purpose of this Blog is to list some of my favorite search sites and methods to find them. I hope that you, the reader, may be able to use some of these tools to tug on your own threads and get closer to those who have come before. Enjoy the journey, because this is one trip where you will never get to the destination.
